Our Story

The Big Red Barn began in 2014 as a family-owned health food store in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. Our journey into making nut butters started when we were looking for different snack alternatives for a picky eater in the family. Over the years, we carried a wide variety of products, but our homemade peanut, almond, and cashew butters always remained a favorite.

Although our physical store closed several years ago, our passion for making nut butters continued. What started as a small part of our store eventually became the heart of our business.

Today, The Big Red Barn is run by Deacon and Michael. You'll find Deacon at our farmers markets, while Michael is busy making your favorite nut butters!

We're proud to continue growing our family business and sharing our handcrafted nut butters with customers throughout Pennsylvania and beyond.
